Isotopes and the characterization of extrasolar planets (PhD defense Yapeng Zhang, UL)

On Tuesday, June 6, at 10 a.m., Yapeng Zhang will defend her PhD thesis at Leiden University. The dissertation is titled "Isotopes and the characterization of extrasolar planets." Promoters are Ignas Snellen (UL) and Laura Kreidberg (MPIA). Zhang was, among other things, the first author of a Nature paper in which researchers were the first in the world to detect isotopes in the atmosphere of an exoplanet.
