Wednesday, November 22, Roland Timmerman hopes to obtain the degree of doctor at Leiden University. This is when he will defend his PhD thesis entitled "Tuning in to the Feedback Bassline." He used radio telescopes to examine the centers of galaxies. His promoters are Huub Röttgering and Reinout van Weeren.
