Transformation and sublimation of interstellar ices (PhD defense Julia de Carvalho Santos, UL)

On Wednesday, July 2, at 10 am, it is showtime for Julia de Carvalho Santos. She will defend her thesis at the University of Leiden. She conducted research on interstellar ice, combining laboratory experiments with astronomical observations. The full title of the PhD- thesis is "Transformation and sublimation of interstellar ices: insights from laboratory experiments and astronomical observations." Her supervisors were Ewine van Dishoeck and, the late Harrold Linnartz.
