NWO grants 1.6 million euros for astrochemical research with Webb images

The Dutch Astrochemistry Network will receive 1.6 million euros from NWO for the research program Dutch Astrochemistry in the era of the James Webb Space Telescope. That was recently announced by NWO. The research program, a collaboration between astrophysicists and chemists, will provide experimental and theoretical data that can be used to better interpret telescope observations. In this way, the researchers intend to gain new insights into the origin and evolution of molecules in the universe.
